We have a lot of bad people in the US. We have people who need to be locked up .. like Tyler Barriss of Los Angeles:

Andrew Finch was shot by police, unarmed standing on his porch

Tyler Barriss of Los Angeles phoned in a false 911 call giving Andrew Finch's address. He mistakenly thought another CoD player lived there. The Call of Duty argument that prompted the SWATting was over $1.50.

A mugshot of Tyler Barriss taken at an earlier arrest - he's a serial SWATter. Finally got someone killed. Previously he'd only gotten people hauled out of their homes at gunpoint and handcuffed on their lawns:

Barriss; ‘I don’t think that I should not do jail time, but I don’t think I should do life or get charged with murder, that’s all. I’m not saying that I’m saying I shouldn’t do any time at all though, because admittedly yeah I was involved. So if I get caught and charged, then so be it, and I’ll do whatever time they give me. I’ll serve whatever sentence because it is what it is.’

Tyler Barriss wasn't one of the Call of Duty players. He is known to be a "swatter", he's called in fake police calls before, was living in a halfway house. He swats people for money. One of the Call of Duty players called him and asked him to swat someone for him. You can hear the whole thing below, including an interview of Barriss made after the killing of Andrew Finch and before his arrest:
