What do you mean? The quote from your bio is:

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." --Aristotle; Once you have been taught to think, it's hard to stop. --Petro Dobromylskyj, Hyperlipid

Do you think only five percent can learn to think? What divides high school from college is learning abstract thinking/theory.

That author is a fool, trying to reduce development of the mind to an economic issue. Just because he didn't learn much he thinks others can't.

And if you think only 5% of the people can benefit from college, why did you go? Why did he go?

Are you one of the elite? Is he?

It is a silly idea that only 5% can benefit from college . Everyone benefits from education and that should be self evident.

Everyone! And anyone who can make it through high school certainly can make it through college.

And look how everyone learned to read and write. That was not thought possible 200 years ago when few people could..

You greatly underestimate how much the average human being can learn, when they work at it!!!!!!!!

How can you write the post you wrote and then put that quote in your bio??????

Not a single word of that post was mine.

Neither of the quotes from my profile, both of which I hold dear, speaks to the marginal public utility of mass higher education, the matter raised by the author I quoted.
