last night i saw midnight of new year's eve for the first time in perhaps 15-20 years ... i really do like my early to bed routine :0) ... both erita and jack wished to stay up for the fireworks and so we did

did nothing particularly special, just a meal at a local (penang) heritage hotel w/ my mom, in-laws, wife, a friend, the two kids and i - is cosy, and then chatted on our balcony until fireworks time ... i really do not like to sleep late ;0/

am blessed, that my mom is 87 and all-good mind and body, and the kids picking up much wisdom from her on weekly basis
