Well, maybe your system needs work... BUT, I would think just about any daily system would have trouble with whipsaws in a bad market.

I assume that a lot of the stocks you are charting are in the NASDAQ. As I said in an earlier post, the NASDAQ composite index gave a 'sell' signal the week ending 10/24, and it hasn't given another 'buy' signal yet.

The Dow 30, the S&P500, and the NYSE composites all gave a sell the week of 10/17, and none have given buy signals.

Are you trying to swim up that waterfall? :-)
