Anyone who comes here legally is fine with me. And as for visa's - chain visas and lottery visas have no place. If the Smithsonian decides it wants a gardner and can prove that they cannot find one with a particular skill set in the States.... therefore not taking a citizens job... then go for it.... find one and bring him in. When I came to the states - the lawyers had to advertise my job to demonstate that nobody else could fill my position.... It was kind of a game... but something that was part of the process....
