The basic thing that seems to be overlooked by the Q advocates is that Ericsson has a long established international reputation to protect. It is almost entirely dependent on international business and its reputaion in international markets. It is as Lars Ramqvist, Ericsson's CEO says: "We have no domestic market." The suggestion it should produce vaporware is ludicrous and not worthy of response if you assume that the company is not bent on self destruction. Maybe if the q-fans could point out past occurrences where Ericsson lied to its customers, their argument would be more believable. (Oh yes, I forgot to say that the occurrences should be documented by someone other than Qcom.)

I suggest that the Q fans take a more critical view of their own company since it is there that they have their money invested (If half of the things I read in the open literature are true, you have real reason to worry.) and that the Ericsson stockholders spend their time discussing real factors affecting Ericsson stock like the upcoming final vote for the next European standard and the impact of the Asian crisis.
