Bought D today.

After watching D decline for a few days following the D-SCANA announcement, decided to buy a few hundred shares of Dominion in my IRA ( unfortunately, bought close to the highs of the day at $77.30 )

This may likely turn out to be a long term hold, but if their promises of dividend growth are even partially correct, the potential for both dividend growth and cap gain seems attractive.

Will consider adopting a covered call strategy to lower cost basis, once the merger is approved ( I believe a high probability of approval )
