I've used the basic Federal only since before 2000. Handles all of my requirements, imports employer's data, imports stock broker accounts. It's $15 at Walmart. I do my state by hand.

I did a search in the program for form 1041, it does do the interview process for K-1 for Estates and Trusts. Is Form K-1 the same as your 1041?
