I stand by my assertion that "We own this patch of land" paperwork is irrelevant to the experience of local yokels if there's an American soldier standing on it shooting in your direction.

The British Empire was much more reasonable and admitted that they were in charge and gave the local yokels British Subject status ... for which TJ and his upline owe much gratitude.

The USA didn't encourage independence from Great Britain and local yokels didn't take it. Great Britain didn't WANT to have hordes of British subjects swarming into England.

They shut the door too slowly.

The local yokels prefer to be ruled by UK which is why swarms are risking their lives to break in.

UK mistakenly joined the EU only to find the hordes swarming in again. So Brexit.

Life in Zimbabwe is much worse than life in Rhodesia. Life in South Africa was better during apartheid ... and it hasn't finished getting worse.
