You never make it to the next level in your thinking. You sort of roam around in the basement of ideas.

The basic equation works perfectly, what does vary is the time factors because no one can anticipate exactly how all feedback loops will manifest and how they will interact.

It is like evolution. We don't know everything specifically as to how it works, but Darwin's work has stood the test of time for 160 years, as has quantum theory, which we barely know how it works at all.

The grand irony is that the scientists keep underestimating the severity of AGW. And I think the reason for that is because scientists, unlike trump, don't want to be seen as being hysterical and so they couch their predictions conservatively .

If that were so, they should be able to model it without screwing with the data. Which they can't.
