Yaacov, don't be so pessimistic. gg. We have made money in the markets. Not as much in 97 for the ones that were holding mostly techs. You have been in Intel long enough to know that things never look smoothly for Intel but it always turns out that way. Year over year you will do fine.

I don't think we have been overlooking to post which stocks we should buy for this year. I think we are all still pondering. It's only the 11th of January with a bad week behind us. You of all people should know that Rome was not built in one day. gg. Give us a break. We will come up with something. We have been throwing a couple of ideas out there but the market does not cooperate. Can you believe that? Anyhow, stay tuned for the next episode on what stocks to buy. We aim to please. Let's get Intel's earnings behind us. Maybe we can breathe easier then or go into cardiac arrest. So, no sense spitting too many stocks out at this point. We could all meet in the ICU. (Intensive Care Unit). gg. Like your banker said: Go and concentrate on your bottle of wine a day ( but only for the next week or so). Things may be a bit clearer then. That is if you are sticking to no more than a bottle a day. I understand now why you did not ask that Frank Morris in France if he was from SI. gg.
Don't mind me. It's 5:50 in the morning so you will be reading this any minute now. I, of course, will now go where Dorothy went. Off to see the Wizzard.

Have a nice Sunday

Sonny

P.S. I let you in on a little secret. Abby Cohen said Intel and Msft are core holdings. There go the techs again. gg. And you mentioned the other day that Apache was a basket case. I heard that sector is going to consolidate and Apache is a good takeover target. I don't have Apache. I heard this story on CNBC. Also, Nationsbank should not be affected too much by Asia. Peoplesoft is supposed to be a good choice.
You are close to Spain. Don't you like TEF and Balboa (spelling) bank?
How about Italy's Tel.Co. Ok, now you can't say you see no stocks. Gillette was mentioned as a very good choice but I think their growth was geared towards Asia? I thought they tried to get those guys and girls there razored. gg. Anyhow, we will find some more stocks this month.
