I've been sending them email complaining about the old site and grousing about it to anybody who would listen, including here on SI. There must have been 10,000 more just like me, who all groused and complained about the same exact things. (Now there's a thought!) I said take off the long-winded articles by the founders, and they did. I said get rid of the fancy panels and bloated advertising, and they did. I said simplify the whole layout like the newpaper sites do, and put the downloads link back front and center, and now they do. Has to be a lot of people thinking alike, because nobody much listens to me. (Sometimes things immediately develop the way I ask for them, sometimes the way I think is inevitable, and I begin to think I am at the center of the telepathic universe. I control the horizontal. I control the vertical. However, what it really proves is that I think think the same way as everybody else. Natural mediocrity, I suppose. Perfect subject for breakfast cereal focus groups. Ah well.... ;) Chaz
