Mindmeld, I for one am not against immigration. Nor am I a big advocate for cultural assimilation. If you want to come here (legally) and be Muslim, even practice Sharia Law, be my guest.

The problem is when you make unreasonable accommodations for these immigrants, and liberals have done just that. They willfully practice a double-standard when it comes to their anti-theism, and the result is the immigration crisis that Europe now faces. Muslim immigrants move in and take advantage of said double-standard.

Here's the key. They are NOT impressed by liberal "cultural accommodation." They only look at it and see weakness. They only see a world view that is hedonistic, godless, and heretic. Hence they feel it is their duty to exploit everything liberals have to offer and turn it into a strategic advantage for themselves.

The reaction to said immigration, of course, is downplayed as racist and xenophobic. And sure, there is a real element of racism. But you don't win over your adversaries by acting all "tolerant" and practicing double-standards. Instead, you win them over with courage of conviction.

And if there is one thing that liberals lack, it's courage of conviction.
