It makes no sense at all to me. But clearly someone with a lot of stock to sell (or with enough credit to sell a lot of stock short) started selling fairly heavily at around 3:25 this afternoon and has managed to keep it up since then. The stock has dropped from 43.73 to below 42 on relentless selling in the past 20 minutes. Pretty clear to me that it is an attack to attract as much selling as possible at the end of a dismal day. The RSI only briefly got above 30 on the sell off.
