I agree with all of that, except your comment that it's ok for them to practice Sharia Law in our country, the US. Here, our laws are in direct contradiction to Sharia Law. To practice Sharia Law would quite literally be to break US law. Sharia Law is barbaric at the best of times. I think there is widespread ignorance of exactly what Sharia Law is. Sharia tells Muslims that their own religion and laws supercede that of their host country and that their first loyalty is to the Islamic religion and Umah, not to any citizenship they have in their host country. That is what makes Islam different. It conflates politics and religion. They don't believe in separation of church and state and they use our separation against us. If we talk about it, then we are racist. All of our enlightenment has come to the point where we have hobbled our own defenses against another world view that is very barbaric compared to the Western liberal culture and world view.
