Let's begin with this idea that there are conservatives in the country. This beast does not exist. It's like the tooth fairy. A conservative would never cut taxes when we have debt. A conservative would raise taxes until the budget is balanced. A conservative also believes in "conserving" things.

There is no such thing as a conservative. There has never been and there never will be.

Republicans are saying they need to fix the tax bill they passed and it hasn't even taken effect yet. A few things. It was rushed, not debated, no committee hearings, nothing.

But my bigger point is that all laws need fixes after their implemented. My favorite story is the Social Security number. The law that created SS didn't have numbers assigned to each person. No one thought of it but it's the only reason it still works. Fixes were made. The found a problem, they fixed it. The gop saw a problem and then used the problem to win elections.
