Since only Clinton balanced the budget, an issue republicans claim as their own, your thought process is messed up. President Obama is respected across the globe. Trump is not. In fact, I can't think of one country that still respects the US. The last global poll was horrific.

Considering the fact that republicans abandoned the country after the Great Recession hit and refused to govern for a decade, I place all the blame on them.
