Loren,

You're probably right on this observation. I just set up charts for the NYSE, DOW30, Nasdaq, and the S&P500 using weekly data and StoRsi(14) and StoRsi(8,5), and 5,13,40MACD and 5,13,40 MA's (Though for some reason, I got this error on the ma's: Period value out of valid range in Mov() function). Though just looking at the others, I got sell signals for both 8/15 as well as your 10/17 and they have all been negative since. Oh, btw, I tried using the ADX/weekly like you said you were doing and that indicator was >25 & 30 till about 12/5,12. But anyway, I guess I have been swimming like salmon against the flow[g].

Maybe while I try to adjust my system, I should just load data say from this summers bull run? Do you think that sounds reasonable? Knowing of course, the limits/constraints of the system.

Thanks for the suggestions,

Chris
