Microsoft software to run TCI's digital TV boxes. According to today's Wahington Post, Microsoft will liscense at least 5 million copies of Windows CE operating system to TCI for the set-top boxes which are expected to become avialable in 1999. Microsoft will make available some of the WebTV box technology. TCI has yet to identify what computer chip will be used. Rob, is idti's WebTV chip in the running? This could be a big win.
