| Well, Obama, Clinton, and Reagan were all Great Communicators. It was their skill. You may not agree with one or the other's politics, but you can't deny they were master class politicians. That's why they could implement their agendas so successfully and be liked by so many people. By implement agenda successfully, I mean they got what they wanted, not that I liked what the American people got. I liked what we got economically under Clinton and Reagan, but not what we got under Obama. Anyway, Trump is a terrible communicator. He's brash, offensive, and really fails to sell Congress on his ideas. He's a divider, which is also a problem for the US long term. The sooner he leaves office the better for all of us. Having said all that, I still would have voted for him over Hillary and I do like some of his stances like the ones on Islamic immigration, America First for trade and business, and some (not all) aspects of the recently passed tax plan. On economics, he's a bit savvier than Obama, who was mostly focused on welfare and entitlements and various other forms of giveaways to people who don't work or contribute to the resources of this country. |
