Interesting 10% "round trip" on Friday.... Didn't take much volume at the end to bring it back to where it started the day.. A lot of speculation out there over whether Sinovel will "finally" seek a settlement with AMSC.. Even a $100-300 million value of Cash + Equity would be a tremendous plus for the stock valuation.. I certainly would not want to be short the stock.. It has the potential to shoot up 100-200% from here by my chart analysis.. bigcharts.marketwatch.com The Monthly MACD is just starting to go positive, and this usually signals a multi-month positive move.. bigcharts.marketwatch.com One thing else about this is that the more Press that is given to this case, the more likely there will be pressure upon Sinovel to settle as it exposes the overall problem of industrial espionage/theft from China and heightens the Trump administration's case for greater punitive protections.. And I can't believe the Chinese gov't wants that, even if they might prefer to save face over the entire issue. Hawk
