Actually, it has been shown that MENSA members have a seriously disproportionate likelihood of certain "mental" disorders like "mood disorders" and anxiety issues Right. healthland.time.com Not they necessarily are firmly on the spectrum, but they are likely to experience similar degrees of bullying and rejection from an early age. And that is almost certainly a major factor behind the comorbid conditions of anxiety and mood disorders. Note: by their nature, MENSA members are joiners. So they probably have better social skills than others who are more firmly on the spectrum.
