Hi Graystone,
I believe that one of the signs of the last days is the increased tension between the races. I heard it explained very well by Ben Kinchlow (sp?) on the 700 club. Ben is one of my favorite people. The "race wars" we have had and will see in the future are just another sign of the end.
Many people are very touchy about race issues and over react to any statement that even sounds a little anti-_________ (you fill in the race). The fact is that people dislike other people for so many reasons and race is just one. But race has become so politically and socially charged in these last days it is in the forefront of issues that make people crazy and irrational, unable to see facts through the haze of emotionalism.
There are seeming insurmountable problems between balck and white in this country. Blacks want to keep seperate themselves and voluntarily segregate themselves (not all but vast majority) even when they have ample opportunity to do otherwise just as whites do. So it is not a white preference only. Now that I have said that are you thinking I am a segregationist also? If you do you prove my point. I only stated a fact but did you over react to the point?
I don't want to live next door to gang bangers or crack heads, do you? Living in a crime free neighborhood is everyones ideal. How can you point the racism finger at anyone for wanting that. Over reaction? I'm sure if we knew Jane better we would understand more what she is driving at in her posts. Don't be too quick to judge others lest we suffer the same fate! Let's not label James before we even know him unless you also enjoy being judged quickly and without much thought.

1 Cor. 4:3-5.
3 But to me it is a very small thing that I should be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.
4 I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this aquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.
5 Therefore do not go on passing judgement before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God.

Romans 14:4
Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and stand he will, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Praise God for that!

Together in Jesus,

Bob
