No that is not accurate. You right wingers can never defend your actions so you spin stuff. It was liberals versus conservatives.

You are such one dimensional thinkers because you never use context although you also omit it so you can distort the truth.

In the 60's there were liberal and conservative Republicans and Democrat. Dixiecrats were hard core conservative that switched to the Republican party after the 1964 civil rights act.

So I repeat, not one liberal voted against the 64 civil rights act because we are generally pretty sane and moral.
