Unsurprisingly, even from the biased IBD, you still don't make your case. No matter what those two said or did during those years made no difference at all in a Congress dominated by Republicans. I am certain you can find plenty of Republicans who felt the same way, if for no other reason Congress took no action.

Even if the GSE's were responsible for the crash. Which they weren't.
