Lincoln was never theirs too begin with. They like to claim him, but as mentioned, Lincoln was a hard core liberal and would have been a Democrat today. Lincoln would have hated the modern Republican party!

It is just another Republican lie. Another big lie they tell is trying to hang the Dixiecrats around our neck, when they were all really conservative Republicans at heart. Not one liberal voted against the 1964 civil rights act and that is important to note.

As many here realize, there is a civil war going on and you need to pick a side!
