Brian, re IPEC's debt I believe that they floated the debt in the last few months and that the cash still sits unused on the balance sheet.

In my mind the greatest risk with either co is figuring out who ends up #3 in the market. Since I don't know and I perceive both to be takeover bait at these levels, buying both seems acceptable to me.

I also own SFAM (@ 21.50), and I just purchased some IPEC 3:50 PM Fri @ 14.75.

The only other reasonably pure CMP story I know of would be Moyco (MOYC), which makes slurry. IMHO, that company's CMP story is overhyped, but you might want to check it out for yourself.
