hello tbs, re china and brazil, an observation, that the two should not be mentioned in the same paragraph.

am in agony today ... 0388.hk continues ramp, but without me, but thank goodness did not leave behind my wonderful spouse :0)

perhaps not coincidentally gold continues its so-far gentle meandering back towards entry price level, and so i watch.

whilst watching, i am listening in on chatter across multiple modes of communications that friends have wagered 25% of nav on call options (with strike price at 30% above current level - nuts) on dow index, and other such similar and even higher geared (>4X) gambits

so far no one has reported using leverage to buy call options and 3X ETF index products

but ... a moment of silence ... and whoa

and here i am, without publicly traded financial paper wagers

from one who has 3 expressions of the warrior gene

i wish something would crater

my novice day-trading wife noted to me yesterday ... "oh, instead of buying in little amounts and wait for it to go up, you are buying large but getting out quickly?!"

told her not to try the same protocol on own.

daughter mentioned that in social studies this semester they shall cover economics and politics, and simulate trading in stocks. wife said to daughter, "dada can teach you".

last night's homework for erita was coming up with solutions to the 2, 3, 4 and 5 -bodies problems in astronomy, where she uses her computer to graphically manipulate several set masses around a central star, calibrating their velocity and aligning their angle of starting trajectory, with the aim of having the masses spin around the star for 120+ cycles without crashing into the star or each other

the coconut was able to find multiple solutions to each scenario, and better, was able to manipulate the smaller masses as planets to spin around the star as well as solutions where the smaller masses revolve around larger masses as moons - very interesting computer program

most starting states results in crashes unless you use knowledge for 120 cycles is quite a bit when the masses influence each other and the orbits tend to cross into each other
