Elroy used to be a Republican until Reagan ran for president, at which point I wised-up. Of course I had the advantage of having met him at my Grandfather's brother's house as a teenager and watching his "performance" as governor - and it was nothing more than a performance.

I recommend the same enlightenment for you, as voting for boneheads and expecting successful policy will never happen.

Once you give-up on your life as a Republican dead-ender, you'll become happier and a lot less bitter.
