"I am not convinced Trump's support level has changed materially either direction, although the good economic news could be helping him some" I've been telling Dems he can win in '20 if the economy holds up and the bombs don't drop. We under-estimate him at our peril. A black guy who gets the job that was vacated by that (non-voting) Mexican father who was deported will vote for Trump. T can lose Calif, by 5 M votes instead of 3, and it doesn't change a thing in the electoral college. Wouldn't be the first time that one party owned the WH, and the other owned Congress.
