Barry, being a motorhead, I thought I'd add my two cents. The Acura system Ibexx is talking about provides the ability to input a destination, and the system will then guide you to it. BMW now offers a similar system in their 7 and 5 series sedans. Lexus also offers it in the LS400 sedan and the new GS300 and GS400 sedans. My understanding is that the Lexus systems integrate audio and heating controls onto the screen. No manufacturer that I am aware of offers a system that does anything more than give you the mapping ability at this time. You cannot get stock quotes or news (yet). My opinion is that the mapping systems are expensive gimmicks at this time. If you can't read a map to get to where you want to go, you're in trouble. Most of these systems are between 2-3 grand as options, but will get cheaper. I believe one of the rental companies (Hertz?), was also experimenting with add-on systems in rentals. You don't need to buy a new car to get this, several manufacturers offer systems that can be installed. Etak is one of them. Hope this helps,

John
