I second the need for a better search engine. While waiting... I use the Altavista search engine. altavista.digital.com You can search limiting your search to the SI URL and use advanced search functions. You can also go back more than 120 days.

I also vote NO on the ignore the bozo concept. I believe some will use it to try and create their own private chat room. It will not be a THREAD anymore as not everyone will be reading the same posts. This is what sets SI apart. Eliminating a few bozo posts from a popular thread will not significantly reduce the overall volume so what would be the reason?
