Heywood,
Obviously, the Republican Congress would never have passed a repatriation law allowing Obama to be credited with that plum.
You're funny. Obama didn't have any plan to get that money repatriated. He would NEVER have accepted a lower corporate tax rate.
Only gullible Trumpsters like you would believe Trump had anything to do with creating or repatriating the overseas profits amassed during Obama's administration under the trade programs that have been in effect for the last 8 years.
Obama didn't have anything to do with creating overseas profits, either. That was all the work of global capitalism, specifically Tim Cook since we're talking about Apple here.

I have a lot of gripes about the Trump tax plan, but the one thing I do like is the lower corporate rate. That should indeed be credited to Trump whether you like it or not. That indeed should be credited for all the capital that is going to be repatriated in the near future, along with increased investments in America in the far future.

If you think there was ANY chance that the money and the investments would return under Obama, Hillary, or Bernie, you'd be delusional.
