Packers-Broncos Can the gods finally be on Elway's side?
Just returned from warm climes of Western Carib.--Why did you guys allow That mess on Friday, while our T.V. on the ship was showing nice market thru Thursday? We're being tested, but after a vacation, its amazing how one mellows. (Hey, it's just paper profits, What the hell).
Anyway, all should read my true-life metaphor for INTC's future. There I am, laying on the deck w/lovely spouse and book in hand, when the ship starts to LIST big-time, pool literally empties as we on the starboard-side go higher and higher, felt like time stood still, & this on the calmest of western Caribbean seas. Well, it finally settles back, Captain Giorgio from Sun Princess announces a few minutes later that we had to avoid a small fishing boat in the middle of nowhere. All is well, go back to your escapism for the week.
My take: INTC is the ship, AMD the idiot fisherman who knew not the major problem approaching, and no need to kill the little guy, they are clueless and unfortunately will self-destruct on their own. Just keep flexible long-term ANDY & the boys at the helm. BTW, many kidded about the crash on Friday, but 2 stocks we have did just fine-UIS & MNT (Yaacov- this has been nice winner from good ole Italy, up 33% last 10 mos.)- Now if only AMAT, BAY, NXTL can recover before I have to jump overboard.gg. Nah, Abbey C. just has to keep the hot-streak going. Let's hope the conference call isn't too cautious.
