Government shutdowns are like electricity failures shutting down traffic lights. Traffic flows much better. It's unwise for government "workers" to go on strike because people will enjoy the respite and make it permanent. Traffic in India and such places is nice to drive in because freedom is fun. More traffic gets through an intersection than with Big Brother or Big Sister in NZ's case. Arc de Triomphe roundabout is world champion. Mqurice
