I once used to back-up with Colorado tape drives but then when I tried to restore, it didn’t always work properly. Then I used Acronis and a few times had the same problem with occasional flawed back-up. So now I only clone my primary SSD drive every 60 days using Acronis 2018 or when I make a major change to the drive with some update. and then actually test it after completing the cloning to make sure it works properly, then store it away.
