You are right on that-----I keep a coin that I toss in some cases. It has been well used in the past 3 months. I believe that if the price stays at the present level (below 105) til earnings, there will be a positive reaction. One thing that bothers be at this point is that even if IBM makes the estimate, and I believe that the latest is (off the top of my head) 2.20, that will bring the past 12 months to $6 and some change. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I did some calculating a couple of nights ago. IBM's PE doesn't seem to want to go above 18. That doesn't leave a whole lot of up-side to the stock price unless the investors decide that IBM's future is worth a better multiple.
