Try to watch Battlestar Galactica. The remake (2nd version) is one of the best sci-fi series ever made. Anyway, there is a scene in which they rape and torture a captured cyborg. The commander and the participants claim that none of the normal rules of war apply to her because she is a machine. At the time I thought even if what they claimed is true, what does that behavior do the people who partake in it.
