The latest ad by the Trump campaign committee and seems OK by Republicans accusing Democrats of murder by illegals is Willie Horton on steroids.
The Dems just don't get nasty enough in return. They easily could have put out an ad about healthcare about how many people died in the past for not having health insurance or will die related to losing their health insurance over the next 10 years secondary to the recent tax legislation. Or about how many people died because republican governors did not take the federal government up on expanding medicaid.

In fact, if the Dems wanted to be proactive, it would be prudent for them to run ads saying that they will be coming for medicare and social security in order to pay for the tax cuts they just enacted
