ED, I often wonder if the media writes these stories as self-fulfilling prophecies. As of 10.02 EST the HK index is being walloped down 7.7%. I think it has only been opened 2 or three hours. Indonesia is up - big deal. The rest is red. see for your self. quote.yahoo.com The Globe and the Post wrote at least one to five articles a day about the 87 crash all through Sept and Oct. The constantly referred to how our markets were avervalued and all the PE ratios were at all time highs. I think too many people rely on what others write in these papers.
