My understanding is that other firms can piggyback on Sharpe's 15C2-11 but they must wait 30 days after Sharpe's filing. If they want to make a market prior to that they must file their own 15C.

My guess is that the MM's will want to capture a potential volume spike at the resumption of trading. That's how they make their money. But the volume was down to a trickle prior to the halt, which might make other MM's think twice.

A larger question is how the information given to Sharpe which enables them to file the 15-C will be given to shareholders.
