*************************** Super Bowl Contest Format/Entry Form ***************************

Same rules apply... (Must use the above subject line as the subject line for your entry -- so that I can easily spot the entries amidst other posts) -- entries must be posted (or e-mailed to me @ JimbeJim@yahoo.com) by kickoff.

20 pts. if you pick the winner.

Also, in addition to picking the winner, you must predict final score of game... it will be used as a tie breaker if necessary for the overall post season contest....

Sun. Feb. 4, 6:30 pm ET: Philadelphia Eagles @ New England Patriots (in Minnesota)

Good luck!

Share some recipes... for food and/or adult beverages...

I'll be doing another one-man chili cookoff, offering up 5 different "styles" of chili (deciding which 5 next weekend because I try to be weather appropriate) and this year I'll be featuring a Belgian brew called Golden Monkey Ale -- 9.5% abv, plus my wife's fav: Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout, Pizza Port (one of 187 local breweries) Shark Bite Red ale, and for those with more tastes/desires, La Jolla Brewing Company Neptune’s Light (Nitro) -- don't let the name fool you, it's a straight ahead 4.9% abv American style lager, but when you brew it in one of the country's more expensive zip codes (and to set yourself apart in this craft beer capital of the world), everyone tries to come up with outrageous names that stick in your head.

Depending on how the game is going, at half time, I may break out anywhere from 1 to 3 blenders and start making mass quantities of margaritas using only top shelf agave and Cointreau and as always, to keep it real and authentic, served Mexican style with salted glass and on the rocks, not a grownup frou frou slushy substance in weird glasses.
