The Judiciary Committee has not yet met with Kushner, however, and on Thursday Grassley reiterated his previous concerns that "our chances of getting a voluntary interview with Mr. Kushner have been shot." Grassley blamed that on the decision earlier this month by the committee's top Democrat, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, to unilaterally release another interview transcript: that of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, whose firm commissioned a private intelligence dossier alleging that Russia may have obtained compromising material about Trump.

Grassley is either an idiot or he plays at being one because of political posturing. I can't be 100% certain which is true since I have never spoken with the man privately. But when he says the above, he is ignoring the obvious fact that Simpson himself wanted his interview transcript to be made public. He just couldn't do it himself, but Feinstein did it for him.

I was once not happy that she decided to run again, but I am not. We need some senior senators with stones to do things like that.
