I think it is a sad state of affairs when we feel that way today, that we can't even be friends with someone who doesn't belong to the right party. But there it is. ....I purposely do not bring up politics with anyone I don't already know.............however, if they start in with some pointed political comment, I never let it go............my good friend's libtard wife once made an off hand political comment during a banquet dinner of a hobbyist organization I belong to..............I jumped all over it ........she has not spoken a word to me since.............sad to say but honestly, I think I like it.
