| | | Wonder if the FBI is emabarrased?
According to Fox, a letter has been sent to Nunes indicating that the DOJ has 'succeeded in using forensic tools to recover text messages from FBI devices, including text messages between Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page that were sent or received between December 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017.'
LOL!
How could they NOT find them in the first place. They have virtually unlimited tech resources. And you know that the OIG, who was investigating much earlier, asked that they be preserved.
Smells like there was an internal feud about producing them that the white hats won because, really, REALLY, the suggestion that the dog had eaten the homework was truly pathetic.
It's the classic behavior one sees all the time in litigation. Once you've cornered a party or a witness and there is no escaping the inevitable, very weird things often happen. Then, if there's a reputable attorney involved, the client is forced into doing the right thing. |
