Take my word for it, nobody (except maybe Blue and me) ever remembers who finishes 2nd -- esp. in the post season... play to win... I suppose you and deb could play chicken on when to post your picks, but she has never done that in the past, and she's won her share of these... in some ways, it's tougher being in the lead the last week/SB week because when you are in 2nd, the decision is easy... but to reiterate, in the post season contest, there's the winner and everyone else loses... 2nd place is more respectable in the regular season because it's so long and involves over 200 or more picks total (usually takes 160-180 correct picks to win)... I can only recall one post season where the score/tie breaker came into effect and I believe it was because the leader going into the SB picked the heavily favored team and they lost while 2 in 2nd place picked the other team... but I cannot remember a season when there were 2 people tied for the lead going into the SB... I really thought this year might be the first, just as this year's regular season contest ended with 3 tied for 1st and we've never had more that a 2-way tie in the regular season.
