Roger, I shorted esmc also because of that deal. Every previous deal I am aware of has caused the stock to tank a minimum of 2/3. For example, one stock went from $2 to 35c. However, I will admit that all these previous deals were with bb or small Nasdaq stocks. Usually it is those stocks that do these ripoff deals because they are so desparate. Actually, I decided that the best way to get rich quick is to get in on one of these kinds of deals. Have you ever done that, Roger. I was recently speaking with someone who made 10x his money on this type of deal with essentially zero risk. The only risk, I believe, is that the company will go bankrupt before you can unload the stuff on the hapless shareholders. I believe there is usually a 30 day waiting period so it may take that long before the shareholders notice they've been (legally) robbed. Glad to have you back around. Looks like a good time to be short. (Randy Newman oughta write a song!)
