To all,
It appears the recent weakness may be due to some new laws "Stark II". I believe these laws prevent doctors from referring patients to businesses they have a financial stake in. This is a quote I pulled off of Motley Fool:
<<I'll quote from the January 1, 1998 issue of the Medical Group Management Update, which had an article on the subject:
"The law prohibits a physician from referring Medicare and Medicaid patients for designated health services to any facility with which the physician (or an immediate family member) has a financial relationship. ... Several exceptions apply, including situations in which the designated health service was furnished by a rural provider, or where the referring physician's interest in a facility was limited to owning shares in certain publicly traded securities.">>

Comments please from anyone in the know,
Don
