Quiet around here this wet, dank am. Rumour is Sunday's weather is going to be interesting- up to 145 mm of the wet stuff.
Did some trolling on BBD.b - it is a pity the news came out on Friday and I find quite a few posts from Americans who are upset how this decision is an example of how NAFTA does not work. Canadians? A lot do not like the company because of the money it has received - but others see the money as a loan and not a gift. A lot of noise and no meat. Honestly I found nothing to chew on at least yesterday. What will happen on Monday sure can not be anticipated by what folks have to say- opinions are all over the board.
NAFTA - what many seem to miss is NAFTA is a bit of a mess but not for the reasons the Orange man keeps barking about.
As a generality - Companies come first, Americans second and Canadians third. The bias may be slight but it is there. Biggest damn issue is legal costs. Who is right does not matter much, who has the most lawyers and can last the longest is what ends a lot of cases.
Looking for a chance to bail on Monday....we shall see.
