axcs has had several volume spikes throughout the last 2 or so months without any news, last release in august, i don't see any relation between a news release and the prior increases in volume, this may be a criteria you want to include , i don't know, it does strike my curiousity, good luck! if you can correlate the accumulation prior to a news release , the news release and ensueing run up , then you would know which companies are leaking prior to the announcement, and that might become extremely interesting,hmmm....i've read about this type of volume monitoring on a weekly basis on larger stocks.(weinstein)my previous understanding was that you were looking for price gainers as you posted, not volume.

bo any thought or past experience on some little ditties to monitor, or were you just speaking in general.
